David Biro, M.D., Ph.D.

 

Dr. David Biro received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, his MD from Columbia University, and his PhD from Oxford University. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn where he was awarded the Alpha Omega Alpha award for excellence in teaching. Dr. Biro has been named one of New York's "Top Doctors" in New York Magazine in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

 

In addition to practicing dermatology and training dermatology residents, Dr. Biro is actively involved in the medical humanities. He teaches a course in medicine and literature at SUNY Downstate and has published articles in numerous medical journals, the New York Times and Slate magazine. His book One Hundred Days won critical acclaim and he is currently at work on a second book.

Laszlo Biro, M.D., FAACP

 

 

Dr. Laszlo Biro founded Bay Ridge Skin and Cancer over 40 years ago. In addition to building the largest dermatology practice in Brooklyn, Dr. Biro has been active in academic medicine. As a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate, he has taught and mentored many outstanding dermatologists in the United States. He was Chief of Dermatology at Lutheran Medical Center until 2005 and remains the Chief of Dermatology at Victory Memorial Hospital. He is a leading expert on skin cancer in general and cryosurgery in particular. He has written many chapters in textbooks and published numerous articles in medical journals. Dr. Biro is invited to lecture around the world on a regular basis to share his expertise. He has been repeatedly named one of New York's Best Doctors by Castle Connolly and New York Magazine.

Stefan Bradu, Dermatologist Brooklyn

Stefan Bradu, M.D., Ph.D.

 

 

Dr. Bradu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology with over four years of experience in the practice of advanced medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. He holds a PhD in molecular biology, two international patents with promising implications for the diagnosis and treatment of human cancer, and collaborated during his research with various prestigious medical, biotech and cosmetic companies and institutions. The focus of his research has been on the development and testing of anti- cancer and anti-oxidant agents. Dr. Bradu takes particular pride in teaching Clinical Dermatology to the Dermatology residents from the State University of New York- Downstate Medical School, his alma mater.

 

 

 

Grace LaSelva Dermatologist Brooklyn

Grace LaSelva, RPA-C

 

 

Grace is the latest edition to our office, practicing both adult and pediatric dermatology. She is a board certified physician assistant, having completed her medical training at Long Island University where she graduated summa cum laude. During her training she completed rotations at various hospitals including St. Vincents Catholic Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center. She also has a BS in General Sciences from Fordham University-Rose Hill. In addition to practicing medicine, Grace is also an adjunct professor at her alma mater, Long Island University.
